LOCATION: Bristol, and surrounding locations
PAY RATES: Days £36.87/ Nights: £42.08/ Weekends: £46.33

We’re looking for skilled and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurses (RMNs) who are committed to delivering truly person-centred care and building meaningful therapeutic relationships.
As a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with Thornbury Community Services , you will work closely with a variety of complex care clients across your region, delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing support tailored to individual needs. This unique opportunity offers variety, flexibility and the chance to work alongside a specialist team supporting new care package implementations, providing you with the opportunity to work with different clients and clinical requirements while building meaningful relationships and making a real difference to people's lives.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality, person-centered mental health nursing within the client’s own home.
- Complete clinical assessments and implement evidence-based care plans.
- Maintain safety through effective risk management and positive risk-taking.
- Administer medication and monitor mental and physical health.
- Work collaboratively as part of a small, consistent care team.
- Build strong therapeutic relationships that empower clients to live independently and confidently.

About this role
Working in community mental health nursing with Thornbury Community Services, you'll deliver person-centred care to clients with complex needs across Bristol and surrounding areas, primarily in their own homes. The role combines clinical assessment, medication management, risk evaluation, and therapeutic relationship-building—all within a small, consistent care team. You'll have genuine flexibility across day, night, and weekend shifts, and the pay reflects the demands of the work, ranging from £36.87 to £46.33 per hour depending on shift type.
To succeed here, you'll need at least 12 months of UK-based RMN experience in community, secure, crisis, or acute settings, along with demonstrated competence in risk management and physical intervention.
