About this role

AirTrunk is expanding rapidly across Asia Pacific and the Middle East, and this role sits at the commercial heart of that growth. As Senior Commercial Manager based in Mumbai, you'll own contract strategy, negotiation, and lifecycle management for hyperscale data centre developments across the region. You'll report to the Commercial Director for India & Middle East and partner closely with development, procurement, and leadership teams to navigate complex contractual landscapes—from pre-flight risk assessment through project closeout—while managing vendor relationships, claims, and disputes that arise in large-scale construction environments.

The position demands deep expertise in construction contract management and law, backed by at least ten years in the industry. You'll need strong negotiation and drafting skills, the ability to influence multidisciplinary teams, and a track record of handling high-stakes commercial issues. Experience in India's construction market—particularly its regulatory approvals, local partnerships, and supply chain dynamics—is highly valued, as is prior exposure to hyperscale or data centre delivery models. You'll travel regularly to sites for project reviews, audits, and commissioning activities.

This is a contract role requiring in-office presence in Mumbai. It suits someone with a relevant degree (Law, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Engineering) who thrives in fast-paced environments, balances multiple concurrent projects, and can develop business cases and streamlined processes that drive efficiency across the delivery pipeline.
