Description
About Tia
Tia is building a new model for women’s healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.
About the Role
We’re looking for a physician who is passionate about providing comprehensive, affirming primary care to women at Tia’s New York clinics in SoHo and Williamsburg.
As a Physician at Tia, you’ll play a critical role in delivering the high-quality, patient-centered care our members expect. You’ll provide full-spectrum primary care for women, including preventive care, holistic primary care, acute care, and chronic disease management. Your clinical expertise, collaborative approach, and desire to teach and support others will make you an integral part of our interdisciplinary care team.
This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care while also engaging in teaching, collaboration, and clinical partnership across the organization. You’ll also have the unique opportunity to work with Tia’s technology teams, contributing feedback and insights that help shape the products and tools you use to care for patients.
Why Tia
- Built-in protected time for documentation, care coordination, and team collaboration, including dedicated weekly management time aligned across markets
- AI-supported documentation to reduce charting burden
- Beautiful, thoughtfully designed clinics in prime locations
- Quarterly bonus + equity — not typical in clinical roles
- Opportunity to build and shape a new model for women’s healthcare
What You’ll Do
- Provide comprehensive, affirming primary care for women across Tia’s New York clinics, including SoHo and Williamsburg.
- Manage a broad range of primary care needs, including preventive care, acute concerns, chronic disease management, basic dermatology, hypertension, diabetes, STI screening, UTIs, vaginal infections, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care using shared decision-making and a whole-person approach.
- Collaborate closely with Tia’s interdisciplinary care team, including nurse practitioners, acupuncture providers, and support staff.
- Serve as a collaborating physician for Tia’s New York nurse practitioners.
- Support clinical teaching, coaching, and case collaboration across the care team.
- Partner with Tia’s technology teams by providing feedback and clinical insights that help improve the tools and products used in patient care.
- Stay current on evolving research and incorporate evidence-based practices into day-to-day clinical care
What You’ll Bring
- Board certified Physician, Family Medicine or Internal Medicine, with an active, unrestricted New York medical license.
- 3+ years of outpatient primary care experience, including routine gynecology and women’s health care.
- Comfortable providing comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, chronic condition management, urgent care concerns, basic dermatology, STI screening, UTI and vaginal infection care, pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and birth control counseling.
- Willing and eligible to be credentialed with Tia’s academic partners.
- Able to serve as a collaborating physician for Tia’s New York nurse practitioners.

About this role
Tia is seeking a board-certified primary care physician to join its integrated women's healthcare model across two New York clinics. This part-time role (20 hours weekly) offers the chance to deliver comprehensive care—preventive, acute, and chronic disease management—while working within an interdisciplinary team that includes nurse practitioners, acupuncture providers, and support staff. You'd manage the full spectrum of primary care needs for women, from routine gynecology and birth control counseling to diabetes and hypertension management, while also serving as a collaborating physician for Tia's nurse practitioners.
The position is designed with physician sustainability in mind. You'll have protected time for documentation and care coordination, AI-supported charting to reduce administrative burden, and access to thoughtfully designed clinic spaces in SoHo and Williamsburg. Beyond direct patient care, you'll contribute clinical insights to Tia's technology teams and engage in teaching and case collaboration across the organization. The role suits someone with at least three years of outpatient primary care experience who is energized by shaping a new model of women's healthcare rather than working within traditional primary care silos.
Compensation ranges from $121,680 to $140,000 annually based on experience, with a 10% performance bonus target, equity grants, standard benefits including malpractice coverage, and CME reimbursement. This is a full-time onsite position at the listed locations, requiring an active, unrestricted New York medical license and eligibility for credentialing with Tia's academic partners.
