About this role

The Pharmacy Hub is seeking a compounding pharmacy technician for overnight shifts (9:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Monday through Friday) at their Miami Gardens facility. You would prepare non-sterile and hazardous compounded medications in various dosage forms—troches, creams, ointments, gels, nasal sprays, oral solutions, suspensions, and rapid dissolve tablets—while adhering strictly to USP <795> and <800> standards. The role demands precision in pharmaceutical calculations, meticulous documentation of all compounding activities and batch records, and consistent quality checks throughout the production process. You'll also maintain compounding equipment, manage workspace sanitation and decontamination protocols, and assist with inventory control and proper labeling of materials.

This position requires a high school diploma and proven compounding experience across multiple dosage forms. You need strong attention to detail, solid understanding of hazardous drug handling and PPE requirements, and the ability to follow complex standard operating procedures. A Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician License is preferred, as is familiarity with USP requirements and pharmacy software systems. The role involves collaboration with pharmacists, QA teams, and junior technicians, so effective communication and teamwork are essential.

The Pharmacy Hub offers a competitive salary between $20 and $23 per hour, 401(k) matching up to 4%, and medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. This is a full-time, on-site position with occasional overtime opportunities and paid time off that increases with tenure. The overnight schedule and cleanroom environment require you to be comfortable with prolonged standing and working with specialized compounding equipment.
