We are always looking for amazing talent who can contribute to our growth and deliver results! Geotab is seeking a Government Security Operations Analyst who will support Geotab's FedRAMP-authorized environment (GTP Gov) by executing day-to-day compliance operations, maintaining the System Security Plan (SSP) and associated program documentation, and driving the Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) program deliverables. If you love technology, and are keen to join an industry leader — we would love to hear from you!
What you'll do:
As a Government Security Operations Analyst your key area of responsibility will be executing day-to-day compliance operations, maintaining the System Security Plan (SSP) and program documentation, and driving Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) deliverables. You will need to work closely with Engineering, Embedded, SRE, Data Platform teams, 3PAO, and sponsor stakeholders. How you'll make an impact:

Develop a solid end-to-end understanding of Geotab's security programs and the FedRAMP architecture while supporting infrastructure and solutions.
Support the Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) program by producing required monthly and annual deliverables including vulnerability scan results, access control reviews, incident reporting, and configuration management outputs.
Assist with facilitation of security compliance related discussions around solution requirements and architecture, and impact of changes on security control requirements.
Perform Security Impact Assessments (SIA), risk assessment of proposed and existing solutions for compliance with security controls and best practices, and assist with development and maintenance of documentation in accordance with both certification compliance and company standards.
Monitor the threat and vulnerability landscape using security and scanning tools; coordinate remediation with internal teams and track to closure.
What you'll bring to the role:
1–3 years of required experience in Information Security and related technology & tooling (e.g., CSPM, Tenable.io, Aqua Security, Sysdig, CrowdStrike, Hashicorp Vault, Veracode).
1–3 years of experience in Cloud environments (GCP preferred, AWS, Azure), including networking fundamentals, SDLC/SDL, and SecDevOps.
Bachelor’s degree or Post-Secondary Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
Knowledge of Security Compliance Frameworks such as CSA CCM, NIST 800-53, ISO27001, and in particular FedRAMP.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft control narratives, POA&M justifications, SIA documentation, and stakeholder briefings.
