Community Paediatric Nurse – Complex Care
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire Shifts: Days & Nights - 8-8
Pay Rates (including holiday pay):
- Days: £35.20 per hour
- Nights: £39.55 per hour
- Weekends: £44.06 per hour

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking nurses who are:
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as Care and Use of Gastrostomy, Complex Epilepsy/Seizure Management, Ventilation via Mask & Female Intermittent Catheterisation experience/knowledge.

Thornbury Community Services is seeking an experienced paediatric nurse to provide complex care for a young female in her family home in Banbury. You'll work 8-hour shifts (days, nights, and weekends) alongside another nurse, managing seizure control, enteral feeding, non-invasive ventilation, and catheterisation. The role demands clinical competence but extends beyond it—you'll build relationships with the family, enable the young person to participate in community activities and new experiences, and provide the reassurance that comes with trusted, consistent care.
This position suits nurses with at least six months of recent UK complex care experience who are comfortable working autonomously within a family setting while maintaining high clinical standards. You'll need demonstrated skills in gastrostomy care, complex epilepsy management, mask ventilation, and female catheterisation. The work is demanding but purposeful: every shift directly shapes the quality of life for your client and the peace of mind for her family.
