Community Paediatric Nurse – Complex Care
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire Shifts: Days & Nights - 8-8
Pay Rates (including holiday pay):
- Days: £35.20 per hour
- Nights: £39.55 per hour
- Weekends: £44.06 per hour

What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking nurses who are:
- Compassionate and resilient, with a genuine passion for paediatric care.
- Experienced in UK complex care (minimum 6 months in the last 2 years).
- Skilled in key areas such as Care and Use of Gastrostomy, Complex Epilepsy/Seizure Management, Ventilation via Mask & Female Intermittent Catheterisation experience/knowledge.

About this role
Thornbury Community Services is seeking experienced paediatric nurses to provide complex care for a young female in her family home in the Banbury area. You'll work shifts alongside another nurse, delivering clinical support for seizure management, enteral feeding, and non-invasive ventilation, while helping your client engage meaningfully with her community and family life. This is hands-on nursing that balances medical expertise with genuine relationship-building—you're supporting not just clinical needs but quality of life and wellbeing.
The role requires a minimum of six months' recent experience in UK complex care, with demonstrated competency in gastrostomy care, complex epilepsy management, ventilation support, and female catheterisation. You'll need to be both clinically skilled and emotionally resilient, comfortable working in a family home environment and collaborating closely with colleagues and family members. Day shifts pay £35.20 per hour, nights £39.55, and weekends £44.06, with holiday pay included.
