About this role
Yondr's MEP Project Manager role sits at the center of data center construction delivery, requiring someone to manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems from procurement through commissioning while serving as the owner's representative on site. You'll coordinate multiple concurrent projects, interface between contractors, vendors, architects, and internal teams, and take technical leadership across all phases of construction—including responsibility for non-MEP scopes as assigned. This is a visible role where you'll uphold Yondr's culture while driving strategic initiatives around specifications, QA/QC, and continuous improvement.
The position demands at least ten years of US construction experience with a strong foundation in electrical or mechanical systems, ideally backed by a degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering. You'll need proficiency in standard project management tools (Excel, Project, Procore, Bluebeam), the ability to read and interpret complex MEP plans and specifications, and hands-on experience leading building commissioning. Beyond technical competence, this role calls for assertive leadership, sound judgment in the field, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to manage stakeholder relationships across architects, engineers, government officials, and community members.
This is a contract position based in Dallas, Texas, requiring in-office presence. It suits someone with deep MEP expertise who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and wants to contribute to Yondr's growth in mission-critical infrastructure.
