Description

Ready to redefine the future of global travel? We are searching for a visionary, decisive, and hands-on Chief Product Officer to take the helm of our product organization and shape the future of our digital experience. The travel industry is evolving rapidly, and we are accelerating our strategy to become a premier mobile-first, AI-driven online travel platform.

The Chief Product Officer is responsible for defining the long-term product vision and driving the strategies to get there such as optimisation of the mobile flow, additional products and a top notch customer experience and service. This senior executive role leads the entire product function—including Product Management, Product Design, and Product Analytics & Experimentation—driving customer experience, commercial growth, and operational efficiency across all brands and global markets within the high-volume travel e-commerce landscape.

In this role, you will partner closely with colleagues on the Management Team, Engineering, Data, Supply, Operational and Commercial teams within both Travix and Trip.com Group to deliver a modern, mobile-first, and AI-driven online travel experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Executive Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall company goals and the technology platforms of the parent organization, Trip.com Group.
  • Commercial Growth: Lead product innovation across the full customer journey (search, booking, post-booking) to drive measurable improvements in conversion, retention, and ancillary attachment.
  • People Management: Build, empower, and mentor a high-performing, multi-disciplinary product organization, fostering a culture of continuous growth, collaboration, and excellence
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the vital bridge with the business, driving cross-functional planning, tracking, and coordination among global Engineering, Product, Design, and Commercial teams.
  • Future Focus & AI Integration: Champion and execute mobile-first and AI-driven initiatives as a core part of the product and platform strategy.
  • Execution Management: Manage project timelines, dependencies, and communication across multiple brands and business lines, while facilitating risk mitigation, issue resolution, and regular progress reporting to leadership.

What you bring to the table

  • Experience: 12+ years of product management experience. Candidates must possess a proven track record of leadership experience in a high-volume, global eCommerce or travel technology business.
  • Leadership: 7+ years of senior executive leadership experience (e.g., VP, Head of Product, or C-level). This role requires extensive experience managing and developing multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Global Team Management: Proven ability to scale and lead across different geographies, specifically demonstrating experience coordinating teams in both EU and China time zones.
  • Program & Delivery Leadership: Strong, demonstrable experience delivering complex mobile platform projects, including mobile web and native/hybrid apps, in a consumer-facing environment.
  • Matrixed Organizations: Demonstrated success in managing and collaborating with senior stakeholders, external partners, and navigating a complex matrixed organization or group structure.
  • Culture Building: Exceptional, human-centric leadership skills with a track record of fostering a high-velocity product culture. This involves promoting experimentation, collaboration, and rigorous data-driven decision-making.

Skills & Competencies

  • Exceptional strategic communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of influencing senior leaders and articulating both long-term strategy and short-term project status.
  • Deep expertise in data-driven experimentation and A/B testing frameworks.
  • Ability to balance strategic oversight with the hands-on coordination required for major program delivery.
  • A strong customer-centric mindset with uncompromising standards for UX and design quality.
