About this role
Netskope is seeking a Channel Solutions Engineer to build and support their partner ecosystem across the NYC metro area. This is a pre-sales role that blends technical depth with relationship management—you'll work directly with channel partners from their technical teams through executive leadership, ensuring they can effectively sell, demo, and implement Netskope's cloud security platform. The position requires you to educate partners on Secure Service Edge technology, develop training content, manage certifications and accreditations, and help build the Netskope Prime partner program while serving as the technical advocate connecting partners back to Netskope's internal teams.
The role demands substantial hands-on security expertise: at least seven years as a Solutions or Systems Engineer with demonstrated ability to communicate technical concepts to both architects and business leaders. You'll need working knowledge of UNIX/Linux and Windows administration, mobile device management (MDM/MAM), identity and access systems like Active Directory and Azure AD, and a range of security solutions including proxies, firewalls, DLP, and encryption technologies. Familiarity with APIs, threat landscapes, and the ability to translate complex security concepts into business value are essential.
Success here means driving measurable outcomes—you'll track partner progress against key metrics, report quarterly on channel performance, and demonstrate concrete revenue contribution. The position is based in-office in New York and offers a salary range of $144,000 to $227,500, with compensation structured as on-target earnings combining base salary and commission. A bachelor's degree is preferred.
