About this role
Xometry is building a digital marketplace connecting manufacturers with buyers at Fortune 1000 companies, and this role offers the chance to shape product design at scale while establishing their India-based product development center. As a Senior Product Designer, you'd lead design across complex B2B workflows, moving fluidly from research and concept through production using AI-assisted tools like Cursor and Claude. This is a founding position, so you'd help set design practices and foster collaboration as the team grows across regions.
The role demands someone with 5+ years of product design experience who can translate intricate user needs into intuitive solutions, backed by research and data. You'll partner closely with engineering and product teams to validate ideas and ship work, but crucially, you need hands-on experience using AI tools to move from Figma artifacts into functional prototypes or code. Your portfolio should demonstrate thoughtful UX and interaction design, ideally with concrete examples of AI-assisted workflows—not just traditional design work.
This suits designers who are energized by ambiguity and want to work at the intersection of design and development, where AI accelerates execution rather than replaces judgment. You'll need comfort with B2B and marketplace complexity, strong communication skills to explain design decisions, and a bias toward action and deliverability. The hybrid arrangement is based in Bangalore.
