Junior Food Stylist (m/f/x)
The role
As a Food Stylist in our Studio, you support the creation of high-quality food visuals across recipe photography and marketing campaigns. Working closely with experienced stylists, cooks, photographers, and Art Directors, you help bring our food to life on set while developing your own styling craft.
This is a hands-on role for someone early in their career who is eager to grow, learn fast, and build strong foundational skills in food and set styling. You will contribute to day-to-day shoot execution, support the team in maintaining high visual standards, and gradually take on more ownership over styling tasks and smaller shoot components.

What you’ll do
- Support food and set styling across recipe shoots, brand campaigns, and digital content
- Work closely with cooks, photographers, Art Directors, and producers to bring visual concepts to life
- Prepare and style food elements on set, ensuring consistency, freshness, and visual quality
- Help manage props, set preparation, and post-shoot organization
- Learn and apply studio styling standards, contributing to smooth and efficient shoot workflows
- Stay curious about food trends, styling techniques, and visual inspiration
- Take direction and feedback constructively to continuously develop your styling skills
- Support the team in achieving daily shoot goals while maintaining attention to detail and quality
What you’ll bring
- 1-3 years of experience in food styling, culinary arts, hospitality, or a related creative field
- A portfolio and visual examples showing your food presentation, styling, or creative work
- Strong interest in food, photography, and visual storytelling
- Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow in a fast-paced studio environment
- Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Hands-on attitude, reliability, and strong attention to detail
- understanding of composition, texture, and color — and how to bring food to life on camera
- Passion for food, seasonal ingredients, and emerging food styling trends

About this role
HelloFresh's Studio team in Berlin is looking for a Junior Food Stylist to support the creation of recipe photography and marketing campaigns in a hybrid, full-time role. You'll work hands-on alongside experienced stylists, cooks, photographers, and Art Directors, learning studio standards while contributing to shoot execution, food preparation, prop management, and set organization. This is fundamentally a learning role—you'll take direction constructively, gradually build ownership over styling tasks, and develop foundational skills in food and visual storytelling while helping maintain the high visual quality HelloFresh's content demands.
The ideal candidate has one to three years of relevant experience in food styling, culinary arts, hospitality, or creative work, backed by a portfolio demonstrating food presentation and styling ability. You'll need a genuine passion for food, photography, and visual trends; a solid grasp of composition, texture, and color; strong attention to detail; and the collaborative mindset to thrive in a fast-paced studio environment.
