About this role

Ennoble Care is building out geriatric care across a multi-state home-based and facility network, and this Medical Director role offers the chance to lead clinical practice in the Youngstown area while shaping quality standards for the region. You'd deliver direct patient care to older adults in their homes, assisted living communities, long-term care facilities, and clinics—conducting comprehensive geriatric assessments, managing complex chronic conditions and polypharmacy, and guiding end-of-life and palliative care conversations. The role reports to a Regional Chief Medical Officer and includes supporting clinical protocols, collaborating with nurse practitioners and physician assistants, and contributing to quality improvement efforts.

The position is structured flexibly, ranging from two days per week to full-time depending on your availability and the organization's needs, making it accessible to physicians who want geriatric work without necessarily committing to a traditional full-time schedule. You'll need an active Ohio medical license, board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, and ideally fellowship training in Geriatric Medicine or prior experience in long-term care, home health, or palliative settings. Strong interdisciplinary collaboration skills and comfort with geriatric assessment tools are essential. Full-time employees receive medical, dental, vision, and supplementary benefits including disability and flexible spending accounts.
