About this role

Bluewave's Corporate Development Associate role sits at the center of the company's growth strategy, working directly under the VP of Corporate Development to identify and execute mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. You'll own the full deal lifecycle—from market mapping and target screening through financial modeling, due diligence coordination, and board-ready presentations. This means building pipelines, running valuations and scenario analyses, orchestrating cross-functional teams across Finance, Legal, Sales, and Operations, and supporting post-close economics tracking. The work demands strong analytical rigor, executive communication skills, and the ability to juggle multiple complex workstreams without losing sight of risk.

The ideal candidate brings at least three years of transaction-focused experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategy roles, with demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring. You'll need to think strategically while staying detail-oriented, influence stakeholders at all levels, and thrive in a fast-paced environment where priorities shift. Background in technology, telecom, SaaS, or managed services is valuable but not required; a finance or business degree is the baseline, though an MBA is a plus.

This is a full-time, in-office position in Salt Lake City with a salary range of $110,000–$120,000 plus $20,000–$30,000 bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and minimal travel.
