About this role

Olsson is seeking a mechanical engineering intern to join their Oklahoma City facilities team and contribute to real design work on commercial, institutional, and military projects. You'll use industry-standard tools like AutoCAD and Revit alongside experienced engineers to develop construction documents and specifications, with exposure to HVAC design, plumbing systems, and mechanical modeling. This is hands-on work that bridges classroom theory and professional practice rather than administrative tasks.

The role suits someone pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical or architectural engineering who has strong communication skills, attention to detail, and collaborative instincts. Prior experience with AutoCAD or Revit is preferred but not required; proficiency with Microsoft Office is expected. You should be someone who takes ownership of your work and wants to see how your contributions affect real communities through the projects you help design.

Olsson emphasizes career development and impact-driven work within a people-focused culture. As an intern, you'll work in-office in Oklahoma City and have the opportunity to build relationships with a firm that has operated since 1956 with a track record of supporting employee growth.
