Description
About Thatch
For most people, health insurance is something that happens to them: a plan chosen by someone else, with little room to fit their life. Thatch is changing that. We help companies give every employee a real healthcare budget instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, so people can choose the coverage and care that works for them, and employers get predictable costs they can control.
It’s a simple idea, but making it real means solving hard problems across healthcare, payments, and technology, and we’re just getting started. We look for people who like solving complex problems, use good judgment, and are comfortable working through ambiguity. People here care deeply about our customers, take real responsibility for what gets built, and are driven by doing work that matters.

About this role
Thatch is looking for an SDR to own the early stages of their sales process, reaching out to employers, brokers, and partners to introduce the platform and qualify opportunities for the closing team. You'll spend your days on strategic outbound prospecting through email, LinkedIn, and cold calls, then schedule qualified demos for the Account Executives. The role also involves maintaining CRM hygiene, collaborating with sales and marketing on campaign strategy, and feeding back insights from prospect conversations to shape product and go-to-market decisions.
You should have at least a year of SDR or equivalent experience in B2B SaaS, fintech, or healthcare, with demonstrated skills in email outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and cold calling. Strong written and verbal communication is essential, as is comfort with CRM platforms like HubSpot or Salesforce and sales engagement tools. The company is particularly interested in candidates with broker or benefits administration experience, or those with a track record of cold outreach success. They're prioritizing candidates based in Austin, but the role is fully remote.
The interview process is structured and thorough—five rounds covering your background, experience, team fit, a live case study, and a conversation with founders about culture. Compensation ranges from $52,000 to $65,000 annually.
