About this role

North Point Technology seeks a full stack software engineer with an active TS/SCI clearance to build cloud-native solutions for a geospatial intelligence program supporting the Intelligence Community. You'll own the complete development lifecycle—from designing secure microservices and RESTful APIs to building responsive front-end interfaces and deploying containerized applications on AWS. The work spans GEOINT data access, visualization, and dissemination, requiring you to balance innovation with strict security and accreditation standards including RMF and STIGs.

The role demands hands-on proficiency in at least one of Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript, combined with modern frameworks like React, Spring Boot, or Node.js, plus solid experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and CI/CD pipelines. You'll participate in Agile ceremonies, collaborate directly with mission users and product managers, mentor teammates through code reviews, and work within DevSecOps processes. Experience with geospatial tools, multi-cloud environments, or Infrastructure-as-Code is valued but not required; what matters most is strong secure coding fundamentals and the ability to deliver complex systems into production.

This is an in-office contract position in Tucson, Arizona. You must hold an active TS/SCI clearance and be able to obtain a polygraph. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field is required.
