Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in our office in Baltimore.
Responsibilities
- Day-to-day handling of all pre-litigation work
- Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
- Guide clients through the case process
- Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
- Complete TD approval for liability issues
- Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
- Manage the release approval process
- Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
- Focus on general liability cases
- Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
- EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements
Requirements
- Law degree from a fully accredited law school
- An active member in good standing with the MD State Bar Association
- 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience
- Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
- Excellent client service and communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Self-starter driven by long-term career goals
- Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Morgan & Morgan's Baltimore office is hiring a Pre-Suit focused General Liability Litigation Attorney to manage the early stages of personal injury cases before they proceed to litigation. You'll handle all pre-suit work including drafting and filing pre-litigation documents, guiding clients through the case process, overseeing settlement negotiations, and building demand packages. The role also involves completing required approvals (Flip-to-Lit and TD liability reviews), managing recorded statements and EUOs, and overseeing the release approval process. You'll lead a team of 6 to 10 Case Managers while maintaining compliance with firm KPIs and managing a high volume of cases.
This position suits attorneys with at least one year of general liability or personal injury experience who are comfortable with both the legal and operational sides of case management.
