Description

Perianesthesia RN — GI/Endoscopy | Houston, TX | 4 Days a Week

Ambulatory Anesthesia Care has helped create a safe, effective, and financially viable office-based anesthesia model that has been replicated throughout the country. We're proud to be growing our office-based anesthesia roots in Houston, TX — and we're looking for a skilled pre/intra/post-op Perianesthesia RN to join our team supporting GI and endoscopy procedures across our Houston facilities, just 4 days a week.

If you love the rhythm of a high-volume GI suite, working shoulder-to-shoulder with a tight anesthesia and surgical team, and setting the standard for safe, quality patient care — this one's for you. All nursing care happens during standard business hours, Monday through Thursday, with no evenings, Sundays, or holidays. More time back in your week, every week.

Bilingual candidates — especially Spanish-speaking — are highly encouraged to apply.

What you'll do You'll own the patient's full perianesthesia journey in the GI setting — pre-operative assessment and prep, intra-operative care during endoscopic procedures, and post-op recovery and discharge. You'll also help maintain pharmacy and supplies, handle equipment safely, and take part in quality and performance improvement work. From time to time, you may assist with pre-operative patient assessments through our secure patient portal.

What you'll bring

  • Graduate of an accredited RN program with an active RN license in Texas
  • Minimum 3 years of ER/ICU critical care or PACU experience
  • BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
  • Reliable transportation and willingness to drive to client locations

What is office-based anesthesia? At AAC, our mission is to provide a comprehensive, peri-operative solution so physicians can perform procedures safely in the comfort of their own office or GI suite. Our clinical model brings the anesthesia provider, perianesthesia RN, and all anesthesia-related medications, supplies, and equipment directly to the client on the day of their scheduled procedures.

The good stuff AAC offers a competitive salary plus performance-based bonus opportunities for exceeding key performance indicators, along with a comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, and vision, STD/LTD, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.

Excited? We sure are. Apply below or send your resume to recruiting@aac-md.com and let's talk — we'd love to meet you!
