Description

At Hillendale Home Care, our work begins and ends with people. We're a provider of in-home senior care, helping older adults live safely, comfortably, and with dignity in the place they love most — home. We're growing, and we're looking for people who treat every client and every coworker the way they'd want their own family treated.

About this role

Hillendale Home Care is seeking caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors across Marin County and the Bay Area. The work involves hands-on personal care—helping clients with daily activities, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship—all designed to help older adults maintain independence and dignity in their own homes. You'll work directly with clients in their homes, and the company emphasizes having real support from staffing and care managers behind you on every shift.

The role requires HCSB registration, a current TB test, and fluent English communication; bilingual skills in Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Tagalog, or other languages are actively encouraged and often create additional opportunities. You'll earn $22–$26 per hour depending on the level of care, with a $500 sign-on bonus after 80 billable hours, paid training, paid time off, health benefits, and 401(k) eligibility. The company covers costs for required certifications and testing.

Flexibility is built into the schedule—you can choose from 4-, 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts across days, evenings, overnights, or live-in arrangements, with weekday and weekend options. Hillendale also invests in caregiver growth, offering advancement opportunities, support for CNA and HHA certification, and pay increases as you gain experience. The company has been recognized as a Great Place to Work and won regional awards for home health services.
