The Role

As part of our ambition to become an AI-first organization, we are expanding our internal AI capabilities to transform how we operate at scale. We are building, deploying, and operating production-grade AI workflows and data pipelines on enterprise AI platforms such as Langdock, Glean, and Microsoft Copilot—turning AI from isolated experiments into dependable, business-critical capabilities.

We are looking for an AI & Integration Engineer (m/f/d), Member of Technical Staff, who combines strong software engineering expertise with a deep understanding of AI platforms, integrations, and data workflows. You are equally comfortable writing production code, designing robust data pipelines, and extending enterprise AI platforms—taking AI use cases from concept through to stable, scalable production solutions.

Working Model

ATOSS follows a hybrid work model with 50% office attendance. During the first six months, new team members are expected to work from the office (Whitefield, ITPL) daily to support onboarding, collaboration, and learning, while getting up to speed with ATOSS, our ways of working, and our AI roadmap.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and operate production-grade AI workflows and supporting data pipelines, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, reusable, and maintainable.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into internal systems, knowledge sources, and business processes, leveraging platforms such as Langdock, Glean, Microsoft Copilot, and Salesforce Agentforce.
  • Configure, extend, and connect enterprise AI platforms to internal data, applications, and workflows, making thoughtful decisions between platform-based and custom-engineered approaches.
  • Establish monitoring, evaluation, and observability practices for AI solutions in production, tracking measurable outcomes through clearly defined operational and business KPIs.
  • Continuously analyze solution performance, adoption, and user feedback to drive ongoing optimization and improvement.
  • Partner closely with fellow AI & Integration Engineers and business stakeholders to translate high-value use cases into production-ready solutions, following shared architecture principles and reusable engineering standards.

Key Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical discipline
  • 3–8 years of experience in Software Engineering, Data Engineering, AI/ML Engineering, or a comparable field, with a proven track record of building and operating production systems
  • Strong software engineering and coding capabilities, ideally with Python
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI technologies, including LLM and agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar
  • Solid understanding of data pipelines, API-driven integrations, and distributed system architectures
  • Experience configuring, extending, or building on enterprise AI and knowledge platforms
  • Familiarity with monitoring, observability, evaluation, and operational excellence for production environments
  • Ability to balance platform-based solutions with custom engineering approaches, making pragmatic technology decisions based on business needs
  • Results-oriented, hands-on mindset with a focus on delivering scalable, reliable solutions that create measurable business impact

What Matters to You

  • You want to apply AI where it creates real, measurable business value
  • You think in workflows and data, not just isolated features
  • You enjoy hands-on delivery and getting solutions into the hands of real users quickly
  • You're comfortable working with both off-the-shelf enterprise AI platforms and custom-built systems

Why This Opportunity

You will be at the center of ATOSS' AI transformation. Combining software engineering, data, integrations, and enterprise AI platforms, you will solve real operational challenges and take ownership of solutions from concept through production.

  • Opportunities for professional growth and development
  • A collaborative and innovative work environment
  • Over 15,000 well-known customers | Sustainable growth of over 10% | Over 30% EBIT | Listed on the German Stock Market: SDax & TecDax | Security & stability

About this role

ATOSS Software SE, a German market leader in Workforce Management Software, is building out its internal AI capabilities and seeking an AI & Integration Engineer to help transform the company into an AI-first organization. You would work on production-grade AI workflows and data pipelines deployed across enterprise platforms like Langdock, Glean, and Microsoft Copilot—moving AI from proof-of-concept experiments into stable, business-critical systems that solve real operational challenges.

The role sits at the intersection of software engineering, data integration, and enterprise AI platforms. You'll design and operate scalable data pipelines, integrate AI capabilities into internal systems and business processes, configure and extend enterprise AI platforms, and establish monitoring and observability practices to track measurable outcomes. This is hands-on delivery work: you'll partner with business stakeholders to translate high-value use cases into production solutions, then continuously optimize based on performance and user feedback. The position calls for 3–8 years of experience in software engineering, data engineering, or AI/ML engineering, strong Python skills, hands-on familiarity with LLM and agent frameworks like LangChain or LangGraph, and the ability to make pragmatic decisions between platform-based and custom-engineered approaches.

The hybrid arrangement requires full-time office attendance in Bengaluru (Whitefield, ITPL) during your first six months, then shifts to 50% office presence. ATOSS is a rare company—one of only 309 public firms worldwide to achieve over 20% return on sales for ten consecutive years, and the only one based in Germany. If you want to drive measurable business impact through AI at a financially stable, high-growth B2B SaaS company, this is a direct opportunity to own solutions from concept through production.
