About this role
Hillendale Home Care is seeking caregivers to provide in-home support to seniors in Sonoma County, helping clients maintain independence and dignity while aging in place. The role involves hands-on assistance with daily living activities—personal care, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and transportation to appointments. This is direct, relationship-based work where reliability and genuine care for your clients' wellbeing form the foundation of the job.
The position offers genuine flexibility: shifts range from 4 to 12 hours, available across day, evening, and night schedules, with options for weekday or weekend work. Pay runs $20–$25 per hour depending on the level of care required. Beyond hourly wages, you'll receive paid orientation and on-the-job training, paid sick leave, paid holidays when scheduled, and access to healthcare and 401(k) benefits. Hillendale also provides ongoing support from staffing and care managers as you work.
To qualify, you'll need current TB test clearance, fluency in English, and registration with the Home Care Services Bureau—the company will guide you through that registration process. If caregiving appeals to you and you're looking for stable work with a recognized agency that invests in its staff, this role offers the schedule flexibility many caregivers need alongside a structured support system.
