About this role
Working as a Residential Listing Agent at TN HomeBuyers means walking into pre-qualified appointments where the heavy lifting of lead generation has already been done. Your focus is on the consultative work: understanding what each homeowner needs, evaluating their property and situation, and presenting either a traditional listing or a cash offer as the right solution. You'll handle everything from property assessment and photography to pricing recommendations and MLS documentation, then shepherd those opportunities through to signed agreements. This is a role built for someone who thrives in face-to-face conversations, enjoys the negotiation process, and can convert qualified leads consistently through disciplined follow-up and strong communication.
You'll need an active Tennessee real estate license and genuine experience conducting listing or seller presentations. The company values people who understand residential valuation and MLS systems, can overcome objections, and work comfortably in a performance-driven environment. Success here depends on being organized, coachable, and committed to showing up prepared at every appointment—this isn't a role where you generate your own leads, but it does require you to maximize every opportunity you're given.
Compensation is uncapped commission with a base range of $70,000 to $115,000, plus standard benefits including medical, dental, vision, a retirement match, and paid time off. You'll work in-office in Nashville and attend weekly coaching and training sessions as part of TN HomeBuyers' 20-year-old operation focused on making the home-selling process straightforward and reliable.
