About this role

Relocity is looking for someone deeply rooted in Vancouver to serve as the local expert for relocating employees and their families. As a Relocation Consultant working on a contract basis, you'd handle the full client experience—from neighborhood guidance and housing research to organizing area tours and curating lifestyle recommendations. The work blends remote communication with in-person engagement, and you'd manage multiple clients independently while coordinating with local vendors and service providers to ensure a smooth transition for each person moving into the city.

This role demands genuine local knowledge: at least five years of Vancouver residency, familiarity with the rental market and school system, and an established network of community connections. You'll need a reliable vehicle for client tours, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to operate self-sufficiently across multiple engagements. Weekend availability is required, and you should be comfortable with standard business technology and CRM systems.

The engagement is project-based with no guaranteed minimum volume—work flows based on client demand and market activity. Compensation ranges from $40–$50 CAD per engagement, and as an independent contractor, you're responsible for your own licenses, insurance, and compliance. This suits someone already working in a client-facing field locally and looking for flexible, assignment-based work.
