About this role

PlanOmatic is looking for photographers to capture rental properties across the single-family market on a freelance basis. You'd photograph residential interiors and exteriors—typically 30 to 60 minutes per assignment—then upload your work through their app while their editing team handles post-production and client handoff. This is straightforward work with no direct client interaction, designed to fit around your existing schedule.

The role requires demonstrable photography experience, ideally in real estate, architectural, or interior work. You'll need to shoot in manual mode with off-camera flash, own a DSLR or mirrorless camera with a wide-angle lens, tripod, and off-camera lighting kit, and carry photographer's liability insurance. A reliable vehicle and valid driver's license are essential since you'll be traveling to properties in the Louisville area. Compensation ranges from $35 to $75 per property depending on the scope of work.

This suits someone with solid technical skills who prefers independent work over client management and wants flexible gigs to fill gaps in their schedule. You'll need to submit a portfolio or sample images with your application—submissions without work samples won't be reviewed.
