About this role

ARCO, a design-build specialist with over 30 years in the industry, is hiring a Project Manager for its Omaha office on a contract basis. You'll manage the full scope of construction projects—from estimating and scheduling through quality control, cost reporting, and safety oversight. The role involves close collaboration with owners and design teams on preliminary concepts, leading the subcontractor selection process, conducting regular jobsite meetings, and preparing proposals. You'll also mentor other Project Managers and drive continuous improvement by incorporating client feedback into project processes.

This position requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (minimum 3.0 GPA) and two to five years of hands-on design-build experience with a general contractor. Estimation expertise is essential, as is proficiency with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Procore. You should be comfortable balancing detailed administrative work with client-facing responsibilities and have the integrity and communication skills to represent ARCO's values across all interactions.

ARCO offers competitive benefits including an industry-leading performance-based bonus, 100% employer-funded ESOP, traditional and Roth 401k options, tuition reimbursement, paid sabbaticals after five years, one week of paid volunteer leave annually, and comprehensive health coverage. The company provides three weeks of vacation and 12 weeks of fully paid maternity leave, plus scholarships for employees' children.
