About this role

MedElite Group is looking for a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide respiratory care across multiple skilled nursing and long-term care facilities in the Dallas area. You'll conduct assessments, diagnose and treat common pulmonary conditions like asthma and COPD, develop individualized treatment plans, and perform diagnostic procedures such as spirometry and arterial blood gas analysis. Patient education and medication management—including prescribing inhalers, antibiotics, and rehabilitation programs—are core to the role.

This position requires 100% travel to different nursing homes within the region, so reliable transportation and a flexible schedule are essential. You'll need at least six months of long-term care experience, one year in pulmonology or respiratory care, an active NP or PA license with DEA credentials, and a Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program. The role offers a competitive salary of $150,000 to $200,000 annually, along with health, dental, vision, 401K, paid malpractice insurance, and paid time off.

This role suits someone who thrives in a mobile, facility-based setting and is drawn to senior care. If you have pulmonology experience, hold the required credentials, and are comfortable traveling extensively to deliver on-site care, this could be a meaningful opportunity to work directly with residents in long-term care.
