About this role
IVX Health's North Raleigh infusion clinic is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to deliver specialized outpatient infusion therapy in a structured but flexible schedule: three 12-hour shifts between Tuesday and Friday, plus one Saturday per month. The role centers on direct patient care—administering infusions and injections, conducting assessments, educating patients and families on treatment and disease management, and collaborating with referring providers and internal teams to coordinate care. You'll also handle clinical documentation in the EHR system, assist with chart preparation and prior authorizations, and help maintain compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
The ideal candidate holds an active NP license with AANP or ANCC board certification, current BLS (and preferably PALS), and a background in ambulatory infusion or outpatient specialty settings. Strong IV and infusion therapy skills are essential, particularly with specialty biologics and emergency protocols. Experience treating both adult and pediatric populations is valued, and ultrasound IV experience is preferred—though IVX Health offers training to develop that skill. You'll need solid EHR proficiency, excellent communication, and the ability to work across multiple facilities within the market as needed.
IVX Health emphasizes professional growth through tuition reimbursement, CEU access, and coverage of CRNI and ONCC certifications. The package includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) match, paid time off, and wellness support. The organization positions itself as patient-centered and collaborative, with a stated commitment to work-life balance and a culture built around kindness, doing what's right, and continuous improvement.
