About this role
Anduril's Dive-XL program is developing next-generation autonomous underwater vehicles for deep-ocean operations, and this role sits at the center of scaling that production. As an Electrical Test Technician, you'd work hands-on with multidisciplinary engineers to assemble, test, and integrate complex electromechanical systems into finished AUVs. Your day-to-day would involve executing end-of-line test procedures, troubleshooting electrical assemblies to component level, flashing firmware onto devices, inspecting incoming circuit boards, and supporting pressure vessel assembly and integration—all while maintaining the documentation and rigor that defense-grade hardware demands.
This position suits someone with solid electronics experience in fields like robotics, defense, or avionics who can read schematics, work confidently with test equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters, and thrive on detail and accountability. You'll need to be comfortable with technical documentation, electrical principles, and the ability to troubleshoot problems independently. Subsea robotics experience, familiarity with high-voltage systems, pressure vessel work, or IPC certifications would strengthen your candidacy, though the core requirement is a proven track record in electronics testing and assembly.
Based in Quonset, Rhode Island, this is a full-time, in-office role with the potential for occasional offshore travel to support operations. The position offers a salary range of $28–$37 per hour, plus equity grants and comprehensive benefits typical of Anduril's full-time offers. You'll need to be eligible for a U.S. Secret security clearance.
