About this role
Autura is building software for government and municipal operations—towing, parking, data, and marketplace solutions—and they're hiring a Sales Development Representative to drive outbound lead generation in their Cleveland area (remote-eligible, but with in-person team gatherings expected). You'd own the early-stage prospecting work: researching and qualifying leads through calls and email, managing Salesforce, collaborating with sales and marketing teams on account-based marketing strategy, and continuously refining your approach based on market feedback. The role sits at the intersection of hunter mentality and continuous learning—you're expected to work independently in a fast-paced startup while staying curious about evolving sales tactics and SaaS best practices.
The ideal candidate has one to two years in sales or customer-facing work (entry-level applicants are welcome), though prior SaaS or tech experience is preferred. You'll need strong communication skills, the ability to manage your own time and priorities, and a collaborative mindset. This is a full-time position at $60,000 base plus variable compensation, with standard benefits including 401(k) matching, health coverage, flexible PTO, and paid parental leave.
