About this role

iCapital's Regulatory and Compliance team is seeking a Vice President to lead investor onboarding and regulatory review for private and registered fund investments. You would oversee a subscription document review team, ensuring that investor materials comply with federal securities laws including the Investment Company Act of 1940, Securities Act of 1933, Exchange Act of 1934, and FINRA Rules. The role combines document review expertise with client relationship management—you'll track subscription materials, communicate deficiencies to fund sponsors and their counsel, maintain reporting systems, and coordinate with investment relations teams on ongoing fundraises.

This position suits someone with 8 to 15+ years in alternatives, particularly with experience in private fund structuring, formation, and governing document review. You should have solid knowledge of securities regulations and investor documentation (LLCs, trusts, subscription agreements). AML/KYC experience is valued but not required. A law degree is a plus but not essential. Success here depends on strong communication skills, client-facing professionalism, and the ability to manage complex workflows and process improvements in a fast-moving environment.

The role is based in Salt Lake City and requires in-office presence Monday through Thursday, with Friday remote flexibility. Compensation ranges from $125,000 to $155,000 base salary, plus equity, performance bonus, matched retirement, and comprehensive benefits including healthcare, parental leave, and unlimited PTO.
