For Recruitment Agencies

At fairlife, we manage the majority of our hiring internally through our dedicated Talent Acquisition team, which is actively engaged in direct candidate sourcing. Most of our roles are filled through applications submitted via our careers site or through direct outreach by our team.

As our recruitment is primarily handled in-house, we work only occasionally with external agencies, and only those on our existing, pre-approved vendor list. At this time, we are not reviewing or expanding that list.

Unsolicited resumes or submissions from external agencies not authorized by our Talent Acquisition team will be considered direct candidate applications. As such, fairlife will not assume responsibility for any placement fees associated with these submissions.

About this role

Fairlife is seeking a Senior Manager to oversee the physical and experiential side of its Chicago headquarters while supporting workplace operations across its manufacturing sites. This role bridges traditional facilities management—handling maintenance, security, space planning, and vendor contracts—with the newer mandate of shaping how employees actually experience the workplace day to day. You'd own everything from daily building operations and landlord relationships to event planning, employee feedback loops, and community partnerships, while leading a team and managing a substantial operating budget.

The ideal candidate brings at least eight years in facilities, real estate, or corporate services, with three or more years leading people or vendors. You'll need a proven track record delivering office projects on time and on budget, strong negotiation skills, and comfort moving between corporate and manufacturing environments. Experience managing multi-site operations with budget responsibility is essential. A background in food and beverage, familiarity with facilities management software, or a degree in a related field would strengthen your candidacy.

This is a contract position based in Chicago, paying $125,000 to $160,000 annually. The role requires occasional after-hours availability for events and emergencies, and you should be comfortable lifting up to 25 pounds. Fairlife offers comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage from day one, paid parental leave, a 401(k) with up to 9% employer match, tuition reimbursement, and wellness resources.
