About this role
MorganFranklin Consulting is seeking a Senior Accountant to own technical accounting responsibilities across a range of complex areas—leases, fixed assets, stock compensation, goodwill, and international transactions among them. You would manage the full accounting cycle for these areas, conduct variance analysis, research and apply GAAP to non-routine transactions, and prepare technical memos for auditors. A significant portion of your work involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements, quarterly reporting, and external compliance, while maintaining and optimizing the company's financial reporting tool, Adaptive.
The role requires a bachelor's degree in accounting and three to five years of experience, with supervisory experience as a prerequisite. You should have expert-level GAAP knowledge, advanced Excel skills, and ideally some exposure to NetSuite. Experience automating processes and leveraging AI is valued, as is a background in public accounting. Beyond technical skills, you'll collaborate across teams to strengthen internal controls and financial processes, support FP&A with budget and forecast data, manage reconciliations, and liaise with auditors and tax teams. This is an in-office position in Nashville with minimal travel, suited to someone who can work methodically through detail-heavy work while adapting to a fast-paced environment.
