About this role

Morgan & Morgan's Raleigh office is looking for a Litigation Assistant to support attorneys and paralegals handling personal injury and related cases. You'd manage the operational backbone of active litigation—scheduling hearings and depositions, organizing case files and evidence, maintaining discovery indexes, and handling document systems both paper and electronic. The role also involves drafting correspondence and legal documents, researching applicable laws and regulations, managing client billing, and communicating with clients and witnesses to coordinate meetings and interviews.

This position suits someone with at least two years of administrative experience, ideally in a law firm or corporate legal setting. A paralegal certificate, associate's degree, or bachelor's degree is preferred, as is prior exposure to personal injury, workers' compensation, or premises liability practice areas. You'll need strong organizational skills to juggle competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, solid written and verbal communication abilities, and the capacity to work with minimal supervision. The in-office requirement in Raleigh means you'll work directly alongside the legal team rather than remotely.

Morgan & Morgan offers full-time employees medical and dental insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and paid holidays. The firm is a large personal injury practice operating across all 50 states, so you'd be part of a substantial organization focused on consumer protection litigation.
