Description

Third Bridge is a leading global research firm established in 2007, with a team of over 1,500 employees worldwide dedicated to fueling decisions with expert insights. We accelerate and enhance decision-making for investors and business leaders by unearthing unique expert insights across multiple sectors, geographies, and topics.

We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Compliance Audit Associate to join our team during a period of rapid global expansion. In this role, you will serve as a primary line of defence, ensuring the rigorous application of our compliance policies and procedures across all international offices. As a key member of a dynamic, high-performing team, you will conduct internal audits of the entire consultation lifecycle—from initial expert vetting to client interaction—to mitigate risk and uphold the industry-leading standards that define the Third Bridge compliance framework.

Please Note: This is an internal Compliance Audit role within a non-regulated organization, focused on assessing adherence to the company’s compliance framework, identifying design and control gaps, and investigating instances of potential non-compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct internal compliance audits using the organization’s compliance framework to assess adherence to policies, processes, and controls.
  • Perform Design Gap Assessments (DGA) to evaluate control design and identify process and compliance gaps.
  • Support targeted finance and expense audits, focusing on process and control compliance rather than statutory/financial reporting requirements.
  • Assist with investigations and reviews of red flags, suspected non-compliance, and control breaches, including root-cause analysis and documentation of findings.
  • Prepare audit workpapers, summarize observations, and support management in developing practical remediation actions.

Skills:

  • A "detail-oriented" mindset with the ability to identify red flags and inconsistencies within a complex environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to confidently communicate compliance requirements to diverse internal stakeholders and global team
  • Thrives in a high-growth, fast-paced environment; able to manage multiple audit queues simultaneously without compromising quality.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of experience in compliance, internal audit and risk management.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, CA, CIA, ACCA or equivalent that requires high levels of analytical reasoning.

Why work for us?

What can you expect:

  • Competitive Compensation: Enjoy a competitive salary reflective of your skills and experience.

About this role

Third Bridge is seeking a Compliance Audit Associate to strengthen its internal controls as the firm expands globally. You would conduct audits across the entire expert consultation lifecycle—from vetting through client interaction—identifying gaps in process design and control adherence. The work spans design assessments, targeted finance and expense reviews, investigation of suspected breaches, and documentation of findings with remediation recommendations. This is an internal compliance role focused on assessing the company's own framework rather than external or regulatory audit.

The ideal candidate has one to three years in compliance, internal audit, or risk management, paired with a degree in Finance, CA, CIA, ACCA, or equivalent. You'll need a detail-oriented mindset to spot inconsistencies in complex environments, strong interpersonal skills to communicate requirements across diverse global teams, and the ability to juggle multiple audit queues without sacrificing quality. Comfort working at pace in a high-growth setting is essential.

This is a volunteer position based in Third Bridge's Mumbai office. The company offers competitive compensation, 18 days of PTO plus fixed and casual leave, annual learning reimbursement, private medical insurance, life cover at 4x annual CTC, and two CSR volunteer days per year.
