About this role

Comstock is hiring a Maintenance Technician for a luxury apartment community in Charlotte where you'd be the hands-on problem-solver keeping a high-end residential property running smoothly. You'd handle a broad range of repairs and preventative maintenance—HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, appliance work, and grounds upkeep—while responding to resident requests and emergency calls on a rotating basis. The role demands someone who can balance technical skill with genuine customer service; residents at this property expect both quality repairs and professional, courteous interactions.

You'll need at least a year of maintenance technician experience, with working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. A CFC Universal Certification and Class A experience are preferred. Beyond the technical side, this job calls for someone reliable and self-directed who can manage multiple priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and respond to emergencies within 45 minutes—including after-hours and weekend availability. Familiarity with Microsoft Office and property management software like Yardi is a plus.

The position offers competitive salary with bonus potential, medical and dental coverage, 401(k) matching, and annual professional development funds. You should be prepared for physical demands including standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in variable conditions both indoors and outdoors.
