Description

As a Campus Recruitment Lead, you'll play a key role in developing and delivering Maven's early careers strategy across the Netherlands and Europe.

You will take ownership of our Amsterdam intern and graduate programmes at a crucial time. Our Amsterdam office is growing rapidly with ambitious plans for the region underway, and Emerging Talent sits at the heart of this expansion.

Alongside the Emerging Talent team, the Head of Market Making in the Netherlands, and Head of Trader Performance and Development, you will play a crucial role in setting the agenda for the attraction, selection and development of early careers Trading roles. Opportunities to expand into wider business areas are likely to evolve with the introduction of this role.

What you’re going to do:

  • Partner closely with hiring managers and the Head of Emerging Talent to define Maven’s early careers talent strategy in Europe and the Netherlands and build on current programmes already in place in European markets

  • Mentor junior team members, seeking opportunities to coach and provide feedback to enhance overall team performance and development
  • Deliver campus events, from liaising with target universities and societies, to on-the-ground presentation and delivery - acting as a knowledgeable and enthusiastic role model for Maven
  • Plan the delivery of graduate and intern training programmes, ensuring assessment metrics, support mechanisms, and growth opportunities are continuously reviewed, refined and seamlessly implemented and meet the needs of high-performing talent
  • Own the onboarding and local visa process for Emerging Talent cohorts and experienced hires, including renewals and new applications, ensuring compliance with Dutch immigration requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years experience in recruiting and developing early careers talent, including interns and graduates
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence and challenge at all levels
  • Thorough knowledge of the Netherlands early-careers talent market is crucial, with strategic experience in building and developing an early careers strategy for a high-performing firm
  • Ability to act as a compelling and energetic ambassador for Maven, bringing our culture, career opportunities and employee proposition to life and inspiring prospective candidates to join us
  • Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • A data-driven approach, using insights and metrics to inform decisions and measure success
  • Enthusiasm for employer branding and representing Maven at universities, networking events and on campus
  • A genuine interest in exploring and applying AI tools to automate processes, identify efficiencies, and improve ways of working
  • Fluency in English is required; Dutch language skills are an advantage

What we offer:

  • Opportunity to join a fast growing global firm where your work will have meaningful impact
  • Annual employee learning budget with access to mentorship, training, and development resources
  • A collaborative and highly rewarding culture with an informal dress code and regular social events
  • Competitive compensation package plus eligibility for annual discretionary bonuses
  • Maven has a number of in-house AI tools, expert-led working groups, and regular employee AI training. We’re committed to providing our employees with market leading technologies for automation, performance and efficiency

About this role

Maven's Emerging Talent Team is building early careers programmes across Amsterdam, London, and Chicago, and this internship puts you at the centre of that effort for the Netherlands and Europe. You'll own the full recruitment cycle for interns and graduates—from university partnerships and campus events through to offer management and candidate engagement—while also taking responsibility for onboarding new hires in the Amsterdam office. The role blends talent acquisition strategy with hands-on HR operations, including visa sponsorship, contracts, and employee support, so you'll need to move fluidly between big-picture employer branding and logistical detail.

To succeed here, you need genuine expertise or strong exposure in early careers recruitment, combined with solid stakeholder management skills and the ability to represent Maven compellingly to students and universities. The role expects you to be data-driven, organised across multiple priorities, and genuinely interested in using AI tools to improve processes. Knowledge of the Dutch talent market is essential, and while English fluency is required, Dutch language skills will strengthen your candidacy.

This is an in-office internship in Amsterdam suited to someone ready to make a tangible impact on Maven's talent strategy while developing both recruitment and HR capabilities. You'll have access to learning budgets, mentorship, and exposure to the firm's AI tools and working groups, all within a collaborative, informal culture.
