About this role

Zerocater is looking for an operations leader to manage meal logistics across Peninsula client sites, from Foster City to Palo Alto. You'd oversee daily service delivery, train on-site specialists, manage inventory distribution, and handle direct customer interactions—all in a hands-on capacity that requires you to cover shifts when team members are absent. The role demands someone comfortable with physical work (lifting 40+ pounds, standing for extended periods) who can stay organized while juggling multiple priorities with minimal supervision.

This full-time position pays $24 per hour for a typical 30–40 hour week, Monday through Friday, 6am–8pm. You'll need hospitality and food service experience, a valid driver's license, and a track record of training and leading teams. Zerocater offers solid benefits including 401k matching with immediate vesting, comprehensive health coverage, 2 weeks PTO plus 11 paid holidays, and monthly wellness and commuter stipends, along with equity participation.

The role suits someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and finds satisfaction in solving operational problems and ensuring customer satisfaction. If you have catering experience and genuinely enjoy the logistics side of food service, this is a concrete opportunity to grow within a company that values collaborative leadership.
