- Support and collaborate with other teams and stakeholders that work in the team’s space.
About you

About this role
Asana's Product team in Vancouver is looking for a Software Engineer who will own features across the full development lifecycle—from data modeling through launch and beyond. You'll work closely with designers and infrastructure teams to build both substantial new capabilities and the polished interaction details that distinguish excellent products. The role emphasizes velocity and quality equally, with exposure to Asana's core systems, including the Work Graph and data storage layer, plus the chance to tackle complex problems like implementing data ownership rules that need to be both technically sound and intuitive for customers.
This position suits someone with at least three years of experience in large, mature codebases who communicates well across product, design, and engineering disciplines. You should care deeply about user experience, balance pragmatism with code quality, and have genuine interest in how teams collaborate. Curiosity about AI and emerging tools is valued. The role is based in Vancouver with an office-centric hybrid schedule: in-office Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, with flexibility on other days depending on your work and team needs.
Compensation ranges from $146,000 to $162,000 CAD base salary, with equity and benefits including mental health support, career coaching, family building assistance, and retirement planning. If you don't meet every requirement listed, Asana encourages you to apply.
