About this role

FGS Global's North America Finance team is looking for a detail-oriented Billing Associate to manage invoicing and billing coordination for client projects using NetSuite. You'd own the end-to-end billing process—preparing and reviewing invoices, ensuring they align with project contracts, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role requires close collaboration across project teams, clients, and internal finance departments to keep billing on track and resolve any discrepancies between contracts and actual billing activities.

This position suits someone with solid experience in billing, invoicing, or accounts receivable who can juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll need strong proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with both internal stakeholders and external clients. An accounting or finance degree is preferred but not required; what matters most is your understanding of project contracts, billing terms, and your ability to stay organized while managing deadlines.

The role is based in the Washington, D.C. office on a hybrid schedule with three days in-person per week. It's a contract position with a salary range of $65,000 to $75,000.
