DH Pace Company, Inc is seeking to hire a Project Manager who will specialize in doors, frames, and hardware for the commercial construction industry at our Omaha office to ensure project objectives are met by specified date and within budget by effectively planning, directing, and coordinating activities. Job Responsibilities:
- Review project plans and specifications to determine materials, schedule, budget parameters, staffing requirements and allotment of available resources for the various phases of the project
- Discuss and establish work plan outline with staff; assign duties, scope of authority and provide technical advice/troubleshooting
- Direct and coordinate activities to ensure project is on schedule and within budgeted scope; review status reports prepared by staff and make changes where needed
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with a minimum of two years of experience managing projects and budgets; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered
- Must have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints
- Proficient with Windows based programs, ERP/CRM systems, possess a good understanding/use of Excel and highly prefer experience with construction software such as Procore
- Must possess a Valid Driver’s License and good driving record

You'd manage the full lifecycle of diverse projects—from data centers and schools to hospitals—by reviewing specifications, planning resource allocation and budgets, coordinating staff activities, and keeping work on schedule and within scope. This is a contract position requiring someone comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
The role demands at least two years of project and budget management experience, a bachelor's degree (or equivalent background), and strong technical skills: you'll need to read blueprints and technical documents, work confidently in Excel and Windows-based systems, and ideally have hands-on experience with construction software like Procore. A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required. Prior experience in commercial doors is a plus but not mandatory.
