You'll also own the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of test equipment and fixtures, develop standard operating procedures for test operations, and provide feedback to improve manufacturing and test processes.

The position requires at least two years of experience testing complex electrical systems, comfort working in Linux environments with bash scripting, and programming skills in Python or C++. You should have hands-on familiarity with standard electrical test equipment like multimeters and oscilloscopes, plus experience developing and executing test plans from requirements. The role is based in San Francisco and requires in-office presence, with flexibility to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed to support critical integration and test campaigns. U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required due to export control regulations.

Astranis offers a competitive package including base pay of $48–$55 per hour, equity through stock options, company-subsidized healthcare, 401(k) matching, flexible PTO, and on-site catered meals. The company has five satellites in orbit, over $1 billion in commercial contracts, and operates from a 153,000 sq. ft. facility in Northern California.
