About this role
Morgan & Morgan's Employment Law Department is building out its plaintiff-side practice across multiple states, and this role offers the chance to represent employees in cases that directly affect their careers and livelihoods. You'd handle sophisticated employment matters from initial client intake through litigation, managing everything from pre-suit investigation and discovery to depositions, mediations, and court appearances. The work spans wage and hour claims and other employment disputes—cases where clients have often faced retaliation, harassment, or wrongful termination and need skilled advocacy to challenge decisions that altered their professional lives.
The position suits attorneys with varied backgrounds: those with dedicated employment law experience, litigators looking to transition to plaintiff-side work, or even those considering the shift for the first time. You'll need strong judgment, client communication skills, and the ability to manage a high volume of cases while working collaboratively with experienced colleagues. Wage and hour experience is valued but not required. The salary range reflects the firm's structure, with compensation tied to experience level and case outcomes.
Based in Atlanta with expansion opportunities in Boston, Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, and other markets, this is a full-time in-office role. The firm provides standard benefits including medical and dental coverage, 401(k), and paid time off. You'll need an active bar license in your state and a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
