About this role

Energy 350 is looking for someone to serve as a field-based connector between Oregon's industrial and agricultural businesses and the Energy Trust of Oregon's efficiency incentive programs. You'd spend roughly 40% of your time traveling across Oregon for customer site visits, trade shows, and industry events, with the rest based in the Portland area. The work blends technical knowledge with relationship building: you'd identify non-participating customers through market research, conduct outreach and cold calls, attend industry meetings, and collaborate with contractors and facility managers to scope energy efficiency projects before handing them off to internal engineering and account management teams.

This role suits someone with an engineering background or solid experience in energy efficiency or mechanical systems who genuinely enjoys field work and networking. You'll need to be comfortable with technical problem-solving, data analysis in Excel and Salesforce, and presenting to diverse audiences—but equally important is being a self-starter who can build trust with industrial customers and navigate the practical barriers they face. The position rewards someone who is organized, adaptable, and energized by community engagement rather than desk-bound work.

The salary range is $85,000 to $140,000 depending on experience, with annual bonuses and profit sharing on top of base pay. Benefits include health coverage, 401(k) with 4% match, paid time off, and a home office stipend. Energy 350 emphasizes work-life balance and a collaborative environment, and relocation assistance is available if you're not already in the Portland or Willamette Valley area.
