About this role
Supporting Senator Kelly's campaign requires someone who can manage the detailed, compliance-heavy work of processing contributions and maintaining donor relationships while staying nimble in a fast-moving political environment. As a Compliance & Finance Associate, you'd track contributions from multiple sources, communicate directly with donors, coordinate with both the finance team and compliance consultants to ensure FEC adherence, and handle the administrative backbone of fundraising operations—from checking PO boxes to creating documents to supporting call time and events.
This role demands exceptional organizational skills and Excel proficiency, with the ability to juggle time-sensitive projects simultaneously. While prior campaign finance or compliance experience is valued, it's not required; what matters more is your detail orientation, self-starter mentality, and comfort working irregular hours during an active election cycle. You'd be based in either Phoenix or Washington, DC, working full-time at $5,000 monthly with standard campaign benefits and union representation.
The position suits someone genuinely interested in Democratic campaigns who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced settings and is willing to take broad ownership of responsibilities. You'll need reliable transportation and the flexibility to work evenings and weekends as the campaign demands.
