About this role

Leading Braze's enterprise sales expansion across Australia and New Zealand means building and managing a team focused entirely on new customer acquisition for the company's customer journey orchestration platform. You'll own both the strategic direction and hands-on execution—hiring top Account Executives, setting regional targets, coordinating with go-to-market partners like BDRs and marketing, and stepping into deals yourself when it matters. The role demands someone comfortable operating at multiple levels: coaching your team through the full sales cycle, forecasting accurately, and representing Braze's vision to prospects and industry forums.

This is for someone with at least five years leading enterprise sales teams who can recruit and develop talent while maintaining commercial edge. You'll need strong business acumen to engage customers across industries and technical backgrounds, ideally with prior exposure to mobile or marketing technology. The ability to work cross-functionally—negotiating with legal, aligning with customer success, coordinating with sales operations—is essential. Braze values autonomy, accountability, and action-oriented thinking, so you should be comfortable making decisions and adapting quickly in a competitive, high-growth environment.

The company offers competitive compensation with equity, comprehensive benefits including flexible time off and professional development support, and an in-office culture in Sydney designed around community and collaboration. If you thrive leading through change, building winning teams, and want to make a direct impact on both customer success and your organization's growth, this role aligns with that drive.
