About this role

Langan is hiring a Geotechnical Field Technician for its Salt Lake City office to conduct inspections and documentation across the full spectrum of foundation and earthwork projects. You'll spend your time in the field logging borings and test pits, inspecting shallow and deep foundations, monitoring ground improvement work, and handling specialized tasks like seismograph installation and grout monitoring for sinkhole remediation. The role requires preparing accurate daily reports, maintaining equipment, and working both independently and as part of a larger team on projects serving major developers, energy companies, and infrastructure programs.

The position calls for at least two years of geotechnical field technician experience, ideally with exposure to boring logs, foundation inspection, or earthwork.
