About this role
GW&K Investment Management is looking for an Application Developer to build and maintain custom software within a Microsoft-focused technology stack. You'd spend roughly half your time on core development work—designing and deploying applications in C# and .NET, building front-end interfaces, and managing SQL Server databases—and the other half administering and extending Dynamics 365 CRM through plugins, Power Automate flows, and integrations with other enterprise systems. The role also involves staying current with AI-assisted development tools and contributing to the firm's adoption of these emerging capabilities.
This position suits someone with 3–5+ years of software development experience and direct hands-on work with Dynamics 365 CRM. You'll need solid proficiency in C#, .NET 5+, T-SQL, and Git workflows, plus working knowledge of Azure services and the Power Platform. Experience in investment management or financial services is preferred but not required. The work is collaborative—you'll translate business requirements with stakeholders and architects, document solutions clearly, and use Jira and Confluence to coordinate with IT teams.
The role is based in Boston with a hybrid schedule: four days in-office, one day remote. The salary range is $110,000–$135,000, plus eligibility for discretionary bonuses and benefits including health coverage, 401k matching, tuition reimbursement, and parental leave.
