About this role
Holder Construction, a nationally ranked construction firm, is seeking an Administrative/Accounting Professional to support its Charlotte project management office. You'd handle the operational backbone of job sites—processing subcontractor invoices and pay applications, managing certificates of insurance and bonds, coordinating payroll and expense reports, and maintaining project documentation. The role requires close collaboration across project teams, from superintendents and engineers to project accountants, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a coordinated, fast-paced environment.
The position calls for at least five years of office administration experience and strong Excel and Word skills. Construction industry background is preferred but not required, as is familiarity with D365 Finance and Operations software. Beyond day-to-day administration, you'd also handle HR projects including onboarding, compliance, and benefits processing. Holder offers competitive compensation with an annual bonus program, comprehensive health coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off—plus shift differentials for applicable roles. This is a full-time, in-office role suited to detail-oriented professionals with solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deadlines simultaneously.
