About this role
Chowbus, a fast-growing SaaS platform serving over 10,000 Asian restaurants across North America, is looking for a Technical Associate to handle on-site installations and post-sales support in Seattle. You'll be the hands-on point person managing the full lifecycle of product deployment—from collaborating with the menu team to configure systems before installation, through hardware setup and staff training, to staying on-site afterward to ensure everything runs smoothly. The work is physical and varied: you'll install terminals, kiosks, printers, and networking equipment; troubleshoot POS systems; and work independently to adapt your approach based on each restaurant's specific needs.
This role requires fluent English and Mandarin, plus at least a year of hands-on experience with software operations and hardware installation. You'll need to be comfortable with the physical demands of the job—standing, kneeling, lifting up to 50 lbs, using ladders for cable runs, and traveling to client locations. Prior customer-facing or customer service experience is essential, and startup experience is a plus. You'll collaborate across teams to drive adoption of new products and processes, so comfort working cross-functionally matters as much as technical competence.
The position offers a salary of $76,000 to $80,168 plus bonus, comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k), paid parental leave, flexible PTO, and fuel reimbursement. This is an in-office role based in Seattle.
